Hector Historical Center

Established October 2008

The Hector Historical Center is a non-profit organization setup to act as a facilitator, organizer, and collector of Hector and the surrounding area’s historical records, materials, personal property and memorabilia. The center also serves as a public educational center by providing a place and the resources for citizens to get information about the local area and its past citizens.

The Military Heritage Hall was added in 2011. This section has information on local people that participated in military services from the Civil War up to the present.

The center is available for group tours, has space available for meetings or educational classes and will assist individuals in compiling their family history.
